Vitalizing the Family Memory Bank….. What’s the Payback this Thanksgiving?

For various reasons, this Thanksgiving will be stressful for me.  Many find it that way every year; family battles at the TG dining table are ubiquitous.  Conversely, there is a thoughtful, positive side to the holiday.

Thanksgiving time often brings to mind exactly what it is supposed to – things for which we are grateful.  More often than not that includes family, or Something You Call Family.

A couple months ago I wrote a guest post which I entitled “Expanding the Family Memory Bank.  What’s the Payback?”  It was posted with a slightly different title of “Saving Family Memories will Pay Dividends for Generations to Come.”  However, the picture they used for that piece was one I would never have chosen; I fear it may have changed the meaning of my suggestions.  My reasoning for mentioning this is to encourage readers (especially the men) to get past the first impression of that crafts-centric picture.

There is valuable payback to expanding the family memory bank, and the investment in time to do it may be less than you think.  So take a peak and consider HOW you would choose to increase your savings account of memories as this holiday approaches.   Click here to read my guest post on another blog site.
